The Ninth Annual Global Entrepreneur Challenge, August 16-25, 2018 offers elite student teams and university representatives from all over the world a chance to collaborate, form partnerships, and build their global networks during a week-long stay in the United States.
About this program
All student participants experience Washington, D.C. through tours and sightseeing trips to museums and monuments, as well as a week-long celebration of entrepreneurship hosted in Blacksburg, Virginia. Elite student teams will present their business concepts for a $30,000 grand prize and trophy as they compete in the Challenge live pitch finals.
The Global Challenge brings together faculty and staff delegates from across countries for university-to-university networking opportunities and roundtable sessions to explore points of collaboration and partnership.
Registration and Cost
- The Global Entrepreneur Challenge is intended for universities from all over the world who have been approved to participate by nominating a student team to compete as a finalist in the Global Entrepreneur Challenge.
- Global university partner registration is due by April 6, 2018.
- Finalist teams will enjoy a two-day trip to Washington, D.C., for sightseeing trips and tours in our nation’s capital, before shifting to Blacksburg, Virginia, by bus for the remainder of the event and to present their business ideas and compete for the $30,000 grand prize.
