Rob HowardKindred Motor Works

Rob is the founder of Kindred Motorworks and is an experienced retail, technology and supply chain leader. He founded, scaled and sold two previous start-ups to public companies. He most recently worked as part of the Target leadership team.

Previously, Rob was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Grand Junction, which he sold to Target in 2017. Grand Junction was the leading technology platform for managing same day delivery programs for retailers, distributors and 3PLs.

Previously he was Founder and CEO of Ensenda which he grew to become the country’s largest third-party logistics (3PL) provider focused on local delivery before he sold it to Transforce (TSE:TFI).

He is a past board member of Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco and of the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association.

Rob raised over $100 million in venture capital and angel money for the companies he founded. He is a frequent speaker on supply chain, retail and technology and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, the San Francisco Chronicle and many others. His experience with start-ups, venture capital, private equity, logistics and retail are unique. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Yale University.
