Present Responsibilities
Paige is a Mercer Senior Partner and leads the Mid-South market inclusive of Kentucky, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and Virginia. She manages a number of the firm’s largest clients with representation in the following industries: insurance and financial services, manufacturing, retail/distributors, healthcare, higher education, energy, and government contracting. Experience
Paige joined Mercer’s Career business in 2011 to assist clients with strategy, workforce analytics and change management, and she provides end-to-end human capital services that combine strategic advice, design, and implementation. Balancing leadership, business development, and client support work enables Paige to impact dynamic change for both Mercer and her clients.
She has more than 23 years of financial services experience as a senior executive in finance, operations, call centers, and human resources. Her leadership spans all business cycles, from start up to decline, and global operations in the US, UK, Canada, and India. Prior to joining Mercer, Paige was SVP, Global Human Resources at Encore Capital Group and Chief People Officer at Capital One Bank where she demonstrated success with acquisition integration, strategy creation, talent assessment and development, project management, and process improvement.
Before Paige’s career shift to human resource roles, she was VP of Operations running large customer service/sales call centers in Virginia and Florida for Capital One. She started her career at Signet Bank as a management trainee, later was a retail bank district manager, a small business lender and account manager, and led sales on the leadership team for Signet’s small ticket leasing business.
Paige currently serves on the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Board, she was Chair for 2020, and was on the Advisory Board of SingleStone Consulting for two years. She is past Treasurer of the Board of Family Lifeline and served on the Virginia Advisory Board of South State Bank.
Education
Paige obtained her bachelor’s degree in finance from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is certified by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She is a member of NACD and undergoing her certification.
Personal
Paige enjoys leisure reading, international travel, snow skiing, water sports, and time with friends and family. She spends her time between Richmond, Virginia and Treasure Island, Florida.
